Michael’s Santa Monica to start $6 happy hour in two weeks

In two weeks, on February 21, chef John-Carlos Kuramoto and mixologist Jason Robey of Michael’s Santa Monica are debuting an “All Night $6 Happy Hour” menu. The menu is said to be made with seasonal ingredients from the Santa Monica Farmers’ Market plus seasonal herbs and fruits grown on the restaurant’s rooftop garden, all for $6. The happy hour will run on Monday through Friday, from 5 PM to close, and features food, beer, and wine.

Valentine's Day, Bay area style with Sonoma Coast Villa and Spa

If you’re looking to avoid the hustle n’ bustle of the city on Valentine’s Day, Sonoma Coast Villa and Spa is offering a one-night stay in a Country Room ($695) or Deluxe Villa ($750) on February 14 as part of their Valentine’s Day package. Early check-in starts at 1 PM. Couples will receive a bottle of champagne, a dozen roses, chocolates, as well as a 75-minute massage and complimentary parking.
