Wilshire Restaurant in Santa Monica is hosting a backyard pig roast ($55) to benefit Share our Strength’s Taste of the Nation on April 22 from 12 -4 PM. Chefs Nyesha Arrington of Wilshire and Chris Crary of Whist will prepare a whole pig including pulled pork, pork belly, spare ribs, and pig ears. Mixologist Devon Espinosa of Pour Vous and Michel Dozois of Neve Ice will serve Trashcan Punches while craft beer from Firestone Walker Brewing Co., Smog City Brewing, and Haven Gastropub + Brewery will also be available.
This event includes invites for contestants from Los Angeles’ Top Chef, Top Chef Masters, and Top Chef Just Dessert to enjoy the potluck with guests.
