Ventura Winery Association to host a three-day wine tasting event for Valentine’s

If a Valentine’s Weekend sounds more appealing to you than just a single night of celebration, the Ventura County Winery Association will set you up with three days of wine-tasting.  Crowne Plaza Ventura and Marriott’s Courtyard Camarillo are offering “Valentine ‘n Wine” hotel packages (through their websites) including both a passport ($35), which grants you access to the seven featured wineries, and also provides discounted overnight accommodations. If you’re a local, or don’t need accommodations, tickets can be purchased at the event for $45 or $40 online. You will get one tasting flight (five wines) at seven participating wineries: Bella Victorian, Camarillo Custom Crush, Cantara Cellars, Four Brix Winery, Herzog Wine Cellars, Magnavino Cellars, and San Vicente Cellars.

The event will run from February 10 – 12 and participating wineries will be offering special pricing on bottle and case purchases, food pairings, and live entertainment during the weekend.
