Remember that one time – you know, that one time you thought “I don’t need to make plans or reservations for Valentine’s Day and it all worked out”? Right – SAID NO ONE EVER. Here’s a short round up of where to take your sweetie with time to make some rezzies.

As the short February days continue to wane away, we start to consider our next big holiday. There is Labor Day, Independence Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day; even St. Patrick’s Day is quickly approaching. But we feel empty, like maybe we’re missing something. Then it comes like a wave of sickly, syrupy gushiness – days later we find the evidence – an empty wallet, half-burnt rose petals, and three extra pounds of chocolate-weight. From now until February 14, Seattle Chocolates will be featuring a His and Hers Valentine treat. The “Red Hot” for him is dark chocolate with cinnamon oil and crushed cinnamon candy pieces. The “Pink Bubbly” for her is freeze dried raspberries in white chocolate with champagne. Prepare ahead because Valentine’s Day is a day that you want to go right, if you know what I mean.
