Once a year the greatest eateries in the Bay Area come together to celebrate the diversity and all around amazing-ness of street food. From Mexican tamales and corn on the cob to pita pockets stuffed with all sorts of melt-in-your-mouth goodness, these incredibly talented cooks and chefs are dishing out their best!
This year, the 5th annual La Cocina San Francisco Street Food Festival will be held on Saturday, August 17th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Mission District. Getting there couldn’t be any easier as free shuttles will be provided for festival goers from 24th Street Bart Station. Vendors will be accepting “street dollars” so don’t forget to purchase your Passport(s)!
La Cocina’s 2nd annual San Francisco Night Market will also take place this weekend! On Friday, August 16th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Alemany Farmer’s Market, join fellow foodies for games, music, drinks and of course, food! Delve into the night with your buddies and stuff yourselves silly with tasty eats from different regions around the world!
