Comfortably nestled in the residential heart of Pasadena, the Langham boasts the refined ambiance and elegance from a forgotten era. The Royce Wood-Fired, Pasadena, CA remains the flagship restaurant after its introduction two years ago. Yet one month ago, a new Chef de Cuisine, Anthony Zappola, helmed the operation to create a new take on the American Steakhouse. Complete with aged American beef, Wagyu, Japanese Kobe cuts and a smattering of seafood and vegetables, prepare to be indulged.
Cooked over White Oak, the variety of cuts, from ribeye to cote de boeuf, are easily paired with choices in both vegetables and potato dishes. Cocktails include the “Gentleman’s Julep” and a “Berry Gimlet,” while seafood options include dover sole meunier and prawns. With an expansive wine list and North American craft beers to select from, pairing entrees with a drink is easier than the slice into your steak.
1401 South Oak Knoll Ave. Pasadena, CA 91106.
