Experiencing Thanksgiving

Chef Andrea moved to the U.S. three years ago, he wasn’t used to celebrating Thanksgiving, “I was born and raised in Italy and we do not celebrate Thanksgiving.” When he was introduced to this American holiday, he became a fan. Andrea tells us, “I love this tradition, it’s like Christmas in Italy. It’s all about the family, the comfort and the food. It’s the most beautiful tradition in the U.S.”

Andrea has worked every single Thanksgiving since he’s been here, offering Cecconi’s patrons a “Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner” with free range turkey, gravy, seasonal vegetables and mash potatoes with black truffles. “I love working Thanksgiving. My family joins me at the restaurant.”
