The Centennial of the City of Beverly Hills. CA was reigned in by the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce’s Second Annual Experience East Meets West, which coincided with the Chinese Lunar New Year. The event, which took place on Wednesday, February 5th was host to celebrities and business owners alike, adding to the experience of the Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive-proximate Crustacean Restaurant, which served as venue.
The Lunar New Year was welcomed with a bite-sized portion of Chef An’s Secret Centennial Dish: The Centennial, 8 oz Wagyu beef filet topped with a Vietnamese herb secret sauce and smoked shitake mushrooms as well as a buffet and wok bar. The meal was accompanied by live entertainment by Cirque Art and a fashion show. The festive mood of the event was highlighted by a number of performers also mingling throughout the venue, from traditionally Chinese-costumed stilted men to aerialists performing just feet away. Chef An’s Secret Centennial Dish can be ordered for $60 a la carte at Crustacean Restaurant.
