Bacon. Perhaps the best cut of meat that has ever graced us carnivorous beings, this smoky, briny form of perfection is coming to us full throttle. For the bacon lover in us all, it’s time to rejoice! On Saturday, February 9th, the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles, CA will be hosting Mendocino Farms’ inaugural LA Bacon Festival from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. That’s 4 hours of bacon-y goodness! This year’s festival will showcase over 45 restaurants, bakeries and caterers that will all be presenting their signature bacon dishes as well as 20 plus beers on tap. Bacon and beer? It’s no coincidence that the event will be held the weekend before Valentine’s Day. For the ladies looking to spoil their sweetheart this holiday, you’ve come to the right place. You can rest assured that LA Bacon Festival will put a smile on the lucky guys’ (or girls’) face. General Admission $40, VIP Admission $60.
