The Los Angeles Food and Wine Festival is back, bigger and better! Through the week of August 9th – 12th, this year’s foodie’s-dream-come-true comes with the addition of new events as well as the return of the Celebrity Chef Power Lunch Series and the I Heart Champagne and Caviar event.
Celebrity Chef Power Lunch Series will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 12:00pm – 2:30pm($125/person), featuring duos of the nations most prominent chefs. Chef pairs include Michael & Bryan Voltaggio at Ink., Los Angeles, Scott Conant & Michael Chiarello at Scarpetta Restaurant, Beverly Hills, Joachim Splichal & Hubert Keller at Patina Restaurant, Downtown L.A., Ari Rosenson & Lydia Shire at CUT, Beverly Hills, Wolfgang Puck & Charles Phan at WP24, Downtown L.A., and Nona Sivley & Kerry Simon at L.A. Market, Downtown L.A. The I Heart Champagne & Caviar event will be held at the Montage Beverly Hills on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 7-10:30PM ($195), hosted by Sang Yoon of Father’s Office, this event features caviar dishes paired with champagne created by celebrity chefs.
This year’s new events include the Asian Night Market on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 7-10PM( $75 GA/$125 VIP) hosted by Andrew Zimmern at L.A. LIVE in DTLA. This event will feature unique tastings using Asian-inspired ingredients by influential chefs like Roy Choi, Floyd Cardoz, Susur Lee, Ming Tsai, Charles Phan, and Ricardo Zarate. Additionally, the “Summer at the Shore” on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 7-10PM ($150 GA/$195 VIP) will be held at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, inviting guests to experience California coastal life through tastings from sixteen chefs and pours from over 150 wines.
