El Segundo, CA is about to get a little more interesting as legendary rocker and reality TV star, Gene Simmons has teamed up with Michael Zislis and Dave Furano to blast off a new restaurant venue. The original craft beer focused Rock & Brews was torn down last December making way for this updated “backstage beer garden”, a newer and bigger concept, opening April 3.
The bar will highlight 40+ craft brews on tap plus hundreds of bottles/cans. The food concept will stay the same with a casual American menu. R&B’s expansion will feature multiple HD television sets, retractable projection screens, updated picnic tables, and concert lighting. And you can see the construction progress on Rock & Brews’ blog.
