Eagle Rock Brewery celebrates 1-year anniversary of ‘Women’s Forum’ with special chef guest Jessica Christensen

Eagle Rock Brewery’s “Women’s Forum,” started by co-owner Ting Su, is a monthly class each with a different theme that features specialty beers and guests with the purpose of educating women about craft brews. On March 21, 2012 from 6:30 – 9 PM, Ting will host a 1-year anniversary party at the Eagle Rock, CA based brewery with guest chef Jessica Christensen of City Tavern.

Ting & Jessica

This isn’t the first time they’ve team up either. Ting and Jessica first met at The Taste’s Burgers & Beer event last September when they were placed at the same booth. Jessica will present carefully planned Easter egg themed pairings with four to five different beers. “Ting was into the idea of doing a deviled egg bar and using the components to help the ladies identify how tastings are set up and how to do one on their own,” Jessica says.

The deviled Easter egg bar will highlight toppings like: bacon, parsley, capers and more to be revealed at the event. Attendees will get to place toppings with Jessica and Ting’s guidance as well as a chance to experiment and pair on their own. The pairing will also include a chocolate surprise for dessert. For those that do not eat eggs, Jessica will have brioche breads as a substitute.

Admission is $16 (for ladies only, guys can hang out at the taproom), and comes with a flight of beer and food. Visit eaglerockbrewery.com to RSVP.
