Mohawk Bend in Echo Park will be hosting two separate pint nights starting at 5 PM on March 14 and 26. On March 14, Mohawk Bend with Paso Robles’ Firestone Walker Brewing Co. will feature a flight of four beers including their rare brew, barrel-aged, Velvet Merkin for $13 for pint night. On March 26, S.F.’s Anchor Brewing will be pouring a flight of four beers as well, including Anchor’s new Zymaster Series #1, a California lager for $10. 2141 W. German restaurant, Wirtshaus on La Brea in L.A. is kicking off a “Stein Club” starting on March 15. To join the club, guests must drink at least one pint of each draft beer offered within three months. Only 25 members will be accepted initially, members will receive a t-shirt, membership card, one free stein of beer per month and a personalized stein with an engraved nameplate hung above the bar. 345 N.
