On Thursday, February 23 at 7 PM, Locanda Del Lago in Santa Monica will be continuing its series of Morso della Bestia – Bite of the Beast. This month’s installment of nose to tail dining will feature Grimaud Farm’s Muscovy Duck, known for its bold flavor and lean meat. Primo: Duck and Farro Soup with fresh chervil.
Piatto di Mezzo: Housemade Duck Ravioli with shallot confit reduction.
Secondo: Roasted Duck Breast with espresso sauce and sautéed Swiss chard.
Dolce: Almond Custard Brûlée.
A seat at the communal family table runs at $70 per person with unlimited litros of house red and white wine or $54 per person without the wine option.
