Cafe del Rey hosts Summerland Winery for a wine paired dinner

Teaming up with Cafe del Rey is the Central Coast’s Summerland Winery to bring you a special group “wining and dining” event. The event showcases the best of both groups with a four course dinner pairing for $65 per person at 6:30 PM on January 19, 2012. Apple & Currant-Stuffed Quail, wrapped in pancetta and served with haricot vert, almonds, and spiced Chardonnay gastrique
Paired with 2010 Summerland Chardonnay, Bien Nacido Vineyard

Zatar Monkfish with leek confit, herb-roasted new potatoes, and saffron emulsion
Paired with 2008 Summerland Pinot Noir, Rancho Santa Rosa Vineyard

Lamb Duo with apricot-braised shank and goat cheese-crusted loin, served with mint-apricot couscous and coriander crème fraîche
Paired with 2007 Summerland Trio, Rhone Blend, Santa Ynez Valley

Orange Muscat-Poached Pear, spiced with vanilla and served with brûléed brie and a hazelnut tuille
Paired with 2009 Summerland Orange Muscat, Santa Barbara County
