Take a bicycle and brewery tour of the Netherlands with Beercycling

Beercycling is a cycling tour with a beer and food layer, which most wouldn’t complain about. They are bringing their operation to the Netherlands for a 10 day trip of bikes, beer, and bites. The 10‐day tours focus on exploring the scenic areas of the Southern Netherlands highlighting local cuisine, beer, and offering opportunities to enjoy Dutch culture and interact with locals.

Clients will visit a brewery almost every day (8 total) including the highlight: The holy Koningshoeven (La Trappe) Trappist Abbey. The tour group meets in Amsterdam and includes 9 nights hotel accommodations, two knowledgeable guides (English and Dutch spoken), bicycle rental and repairs, brewery entrance fees, luggage transport, daily breakfast/lunch, and three special beer-themed dinners, including one inside a church. Price ranges from $2189 to $3055 (does not include airfare). See the complete itinerary here.

The inaugural tour will be from April 19 to 28, 2012 with an additional tour in the summer from July 12 to July 21, 2012. Beercycling is currently running tours in Belgium as well.
