From what barrel?

An event to celebrate the end of Prohibition in the United States, Firestone Walker Brewing Co. along with breweries such as Russian River Brewing Co., Jolly Pumpkin Brewery, Ballast Point Brewing Company, Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project, and Port Brewing/The Lost Abbey will be pouring beers that have been aged in barrels.

In addition, Port and Bourbon producers will be serving their spirits with food from local restaurants and live music. Jamie Smith, Vice President of Marketing for Firestone Walker, describes the event to be “a great opportunity to get fans of beer to try and be educated about port and Bourbon and vice versa all while maintaining that common thread of libations coming from a barrel.”

Tickets are not on sale yet, but we’ll keep you updated as the event draws near.
