SkyBar

Mr. C’s

Celebrate with class at the Mr. C’s C for Cipriani New Year’s Eve Party. The five course dinner includes a welcome bellini and several dishes such as lobster salad, roasted veal chop with morrel sauce, halibut cartoccio, ricotta gnocchi with black truffle and desserts with coffee and tea.

Asia de Cuba

Asia de Cuba with a two seating, fusion dinner including Cuban Oxtail Tamale, Chili Crispy Onion Albacore and Sake & Sweet Miso Marinated Filet of Salmon & Butterfish. Rush Street

Double whammy from Rush Street in Culver City with an event on New Years Eve and recovery brunch served the next day. NYE starts with dinner specials from 5:30 PM – 10 PM. Bottle services start at 8 PM upstairs with a live DJ from 8 until whenever. $150 for tables of 2, $400 for 4-8 groups; reservations required.

Hangover Brunch features their signature Red Eye burger with Applewood smoked bacon, sharp cheddar, caramelized onions, arugula, fried egg and hollandaise sauce. Chaya Restaurants

Three different themed-events at Chaya restaurants.

CHAYA Brasserie Beverly Hills has a “Midnight in Paris” themed meal from Executive Chef Harutaka Kishi who draws on his Parisian and Japanese roots for 2 prix fixe dinners. First seating is from 6 – 7 PM for $75 for a four Course prix-fixe menu. Second seating from 9 – 9:30 PM includes a five Course prix-fixe menu with Canape upon arrival.

Highlights include Bonsai Box including Hamache Mole, Wasabi Guacamole and Ponzu Lobster Tortellini, Truffle Butter and Maitake Mushroom, Foie Gras Terrine, Sourdough Toast and Pear Chutney, Seared Diver Scallop, Black Angus Beef Duo and Molten Chocolate Cake. Executive Chef Atsushi Kenjo of CHAYA Downtown heads the “New York Nights” celebration with a four course prix-fixe menu for $85 with seatings all night from 5 – 11 PM. Menu highlights include a Bonsai Box with Big Eye Tuna Temari Sushi, Kumamota Oyster and Sea Urchin Shooter, Moroccan Spiced Maple Leaf Duck Salad, Wagyu Beef Tartar, Wild White Sea Bass Ballotine, Grilled Angus Beef Rib Eye and Red Wine Braised Kobe Short Rib, and Chocolate Pave. Or go with the sushi bar only Omakase Sushi Lover’s menu for $85 per person.

“Mardi Gras Carnival” at CHAYA Venice with live music and an appearance by the Gumbo Brothers. First seating from 5 – 7 PM features a three-course prix-fixe menu for $75. Second seating from 9 – 9:30 PM with a four-course prix-fixe menu and champagne toast at midnight for $135. Eats include Seared Kobe Beef and Fried Oyster Roll, Cajun Spiced Jumbo Shrimp, Crab Gumbo, Lobster Jambalaya, Grilled Angus Fillet Mignon, Half Maine Lobster Tails, Bourbon Braised Short Ribs, and Bread Pudding Dulche de Leche. Tony’s Darts Away

Tony’s Darts Away hosting an all you can eat and drink beer with vegan and non-vegan feast for $95 all inclusive. City Tavern

City Tavern’s “Brew Years Eve” Beer Garden from 10 PM – 1:30 AM features unlimited beer, wine and champagne with a glass and special toast at midnight for $68. A reduction to $56 is extended to guests with accompanying dinner reservations.

Pourtal Wine Tasting Bar

Pourtal Wine Tasting Bar‘s Bottomless Bubbly New Years Eve celebration is back for the 3rd year, first come first serve from 7 PM – Midnight. $20.12 gets you bottomless glasses of Blanc de Blanc Brut and Rosé Brut, mix and match. M.B. Post

In addition to their regular menu, M.B. Post is offering special a la carte items such as Roasted Porcini Mushrooms with potato gnocchi and in-house ricotta; Lobster Orecchiette Gratin with sea urchin and chive; and Lamb Chops with herbed polenta and tomato pine-nut gremolata. Guests have the option of adding white (3g/$55; 6g/$100) or black truffles (6g/$35) to any dish.
