On Sunday, March 9th, LA Weekly hosted the The Essentials at the LA Mart in downtown Los Angeles, CA. The event featured over 30 restaurants curated by LA Weekly, celebrating some of the best of the L.A. food scene. Event go-ers enjoyed the rustic Italian of SOTTO to the street tacos of Guerrilla Tacos to the Thai spices of Jitlada. Promptly washing down the flavors of LA, guest enjoyed a variety of libations such as the craft beers of Goose Island, the Backyard lemonade with Sailor Jerrys, and some of Handsome Coffee Roaster’s finest.  After a very brief preview and a tickling of the palate, let’s explore eating LA.
