Bun Mee Opens Second Location in SF

Great news, folks! With the start of the new year, Bun Mee– San Francisco, CA‘s much loved Vietnamese sandwich eatery — has announced the date for the opening of their newest location to be on Tuesday, January 14th! Since first opening it’s doors in 2011, Bun Mee has been dishing out a fresh and authentic, yet modern take on Vietnamese cuisine in Pacific Heights. This coming week, with their second location (on Market Street) you can be sure to find the restaurant’s favorites including the Sloppy Bun with curry ground pork, shaved onion and Thai basil; Bun Mee Combo with house carved roast pork, paté de champagne, mortadella, house garlic aioli, shaved onion, picked carrot & daikon, cucumber japapeños and cilantro; and Mekong Shrimp Salad with grilled prawns, sliced mango, tofu, pickled daikon and julienned cucumbers over mixed greens with a blood orange vinaigrette.

Don’t forget starters like Momma Tran’s Crispy Egg Rolls with ground pork, crabmeat, wood ear mushrooms and glass noodles, or the side salads such as Green Papaya, Mango Sesame and Cabbage Slaw.

As always, Bun Mee provides these dishes at incredibly reasonable prices: $5 – $7 for sandwiches and appetizers; sides are from $3 – $5 and larger salads and entrées are priced from $10- $12.
