For 25 years, Taste of the Nation has been holding fundraisers in over 40 different cities across the States to help fight childhood hunger. This year, we’re excited to announce that the inaugural Taste of the Nation East Bay will be held on Sunday, October 20th at the Claremont Hotel in Berkeley, CA! This multi-course tasting event and fundraiser will bring together some of the most renowned chefs in the East Bay, all dishing out their best “bites” with one goal in mind — to raise the critical funds needed to support Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign.
Taste of the Nation East Bay welcomes executive chef, Tanya Holland of Brown Sugar Kitchen and B-Side BBQ (both in Oakland, CA and both participating in the event) as the honorary Chef Chair. Other confirmed participants include A16 Rockridge, BayWolf, Bourbon & Beef, Brotzeit Lokal Boathaus & Biergarten, Chop Bar, Corners Tavern, FIVE, Flora, Lungomare, Meritage at the Claremont, Paragon Restaurant & Bar, Pican, Pizza, Antica, Hawker Fare and many more!
Featured beverages at the event will include wine from Carica Wines, Wente Vineyards and JC Cellars. Spirits will include St. George Spirits, Art in the Age, Solerno, Square One Vodka, Reyka Vodka and Fernet Branca.
VIP cocktail reception will begin at 3 p.m.
Multicourse tasting for all guests will be from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
