A foodie Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner and of course it lands on a Wednesday. What better way to celebrate All Hollows Eve on a weeknight than by gorging yourself with Halloween themed food and drinks! Let’s see what we’ve got around town…

Chef Kerry Simon’s LA Market Restaurant at the JW Marriott Hotel in DTLA, is serving up a spooky Halloween Junk Food Platter. Wood and Vine in Hollywood, CA is offering the “Offal-y Spooky” Halloween menu from Chef Mills as he says his final farewell on Wednesday, October 31st from 5:30PM – close. The menu includes 8 a la carte dishes such as the Blood Sausage with caramel apple, and pomme puree; the Shaved Pig Head with lemon, olives, and parsley; the Calf’s brain ravioli with sage butter, and lemon; and the Deviled kidney and steak pie.  Cocktails available include the Are you afraid of the dark –  Famous Grouse, Averna, Toasted Marshmallow syrup, Forbidden Bitters, and Laphroaig Spritz; the Re-Animator – Nolet’s Gin, Cointreau, Lemon Juice, St Germain, and Grapefruit Twist, and more.
