Good golly gas prices are deplorable, and we thought it was bad last time! Conveniently, happy hours are a great way to get your fill and save your dough – that or a good way to drink your sorrows away. So here it is, Happy Hour Round Up Part Three.

The happy hours will cover the following criteria:

Mohawk Bend

Located in Echo Park, CA, Mohawk Bend offers an eclectic menu and an extensive list of craft beers Monday – Friday from 12pm – 2am, Saturday from 9:30am – 2am, and Sunday 9:30am – 1am. Reflecting their “menu for everyone,” Mohawk Bend offers a late night happy hour Monday – Saturday from 10PM – 1AM featuring $4 pints of craft beers from Golden Road Brewing, $5 well cocktails, and $6 mini pizzas and small plates.

2. One up for grub
Mohawk Bend offers a wide variety of dishes from Executive Chef Mike Garber both vegan and non-vegan. Items available include a variety of mini pizzas from the Vegan Bahn Mi – marinated tofu, pickled carrots & daikon, jalapenos, herb salad, and sriracha aioli to the PB&J – pineapple, bacon, and jalapeno; to Asparagus & Potato crispy potatoes, asparagus, caramelized onions, roast garlic & leek puree, and nutritional yeast. As for the non-pizza dishes, available are the Veggie Platter – picked, roasted, and raw veggies served with romesco and black-eyed pea hummus; the mini calzone of the night which rotates about every 2-3 weeks, vegan and non vegan nachos with house fried tortilla chips, and the vegan or non vegan chili.

Enjoy a pint of Golden Road Hefeweizen, Point the Way IPA, Get Up Offa that Brown, or a goblet of Either Side of the Hill for $4. If beers aren’t your thing, enjoy $5 well drinks with Mohawk’s house made tonic or cola.

Public Kitchen & Bar

Enjoy American styled cuisine from Executive Chef Tim Goodell at Public Kitchen & Bar located inside the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA. Offering happy hour Monday through Friday from 3pm-7pm, guests enjoy the “5 for 5” deal on all happy hour items – from beverages to small plates at $5 each.

Are looking for a delicious and hearty happy hour.

2. One up for grub
The menu items available for happy hour rotate and could include dishes like the Mushroom Tart with taleggio cheese and arugula; the Chicharrones with jalapeno, crispy cilantro, espelete, and lime; the Roasted Artichokes with house roasted tomatoes, parsley, lemon oil, manchego, and smoked ham vinegrette; or the Burrata with casil, artisanal breads, bagnet vert and cherry tomatoes.

Well drinks, draft beers, and house wines are available for $5 each. Additionally, Public Kitchen is offering The Soft Spot ($14) – vodka, muddled raspberries and mint, sour mix, and St. Germain elderflower liqueur, in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and donating a portion of the proceeds to benefit a breast cancer charity[NOT PART OF THE HAPPY HOUR MENU].

Tortilla Republic

Located in the heart of West Hollywood, CA, Tortilla Republic boasts of classic Mexican cuisine in a posh and refined setting. With a farm-to-table menu created by Chef Cathy Shyne, Tortilla Republic offers a tasting of the menu through the Happy Hour daily from 4-7 p.m.

Tortilla Republic’s happy hour menu offers a variety of small plates from $2 – $6. From the $2 Salsa Tasting – house fried chips with salsa de Mesa, salsa oaxaca, and salsa de tomatillo cruda; to the Huarache – Thin Flatbread with Oyster Mushrooms, Roasted Shallots, Baby Arugula, Jack and Manchego Cheeses; to the Carnitas Taco – crispy pork, caramelized orange, pickled jalapeno, tomatillo fresca, soft corn tortillas, guacamole, and crema.

What is a Mexican happy hour without margaritas? Tortilla Republic offers the House margarita and a spicy Jalapeno margarita for $6. Also available are $4 Modelo and Coronas.

Inside the the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA, 25 Degrees is the 24 hour eatery catering to your snacking needs. Offering a daily happy hour from 3-6pm, the menu offers dishes from $2 & $5, $4 draft beers, $5 house red and white wines, and $6 well cocktails.

Are looking for diner styled food and cheap eats.

2. One up for grub
The happy hour menu includes $2 items like the French Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, and Onion Rings as well as $5 items like the 1/2 Heirloom Tomato Salad and the Boback Hot Dog. Fries are served with a variety of house made dressings like the Chipotle, the Garlic Aioli, the Thousand Island, the Horseradish Cream, and the Tarragon Remoulade.
