Santa Monica Gets a Taste of NYC with West 4th and Jane

West 4th and Jane co-owner, Steve Liebermann noticed something that Los Angeles was missing.  He noted that L.A. had either high-end or dive bars, there wasn’t anything in between.  Liebermann wanted a type of place that creates a “friendly atmosphere for visitors, locals, and fellow New Yorkers to gather together and enjoy our hand-picked beers or a glass of wine and a delicious meal just blocks from the beach.” He did just that and West 4th and Jane has become a staple of the Santa Monica food scene for the past three years.

Recently, West 4th and Jane brought on new Executive Chef Ryan Turner who created a new menu that was both delicious and unpretentious to compliment the warm gastro-tavern atmosphere. Featured items on the menu include a charcuterie and cheese board, calamari frites with a house made yuzu aioli dipping sauce, an arugula salad with an apple cider vinaigrette, and pulled pork sandwich.

New weekly specials include a daily happy hour from 5PM-7PM, Monday Burger and Beer Night (any burger and beer for $10), Tasting Tuesdays ($10 Beer Flights), Wednesday Pint Night (receive a free pint glass with every draft beer purchase), and Sunday Funday (discount pitchers and $5 mimosas and sangrias).

Let’s not forget the alcohol!  There’s a wide selection of beer from seasonal domestic and imported drafts as well as canned and bottled. 1432A 4th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401
