SF Bars Host Negroni Week

We’ve all heard about the recent tornadoes that have hit Oklahoma this past week and the devastation that they’ve caused. We’re glad to hear that some efforts to help aid the many victims are being made throughout the Bay Area as we speak. How can you get in on the action? Johnny Raglin (born and raised in Oklahoma) of Comstock Saloon is partnering with bars around the Bay Area, Campari America, Martini-Barcardi USA, Beefeater, Fernet Branca, Carpano Antica, Punt e Mes and Plymouth Gin to help raise funds that will contribute to the relief.

In conjunction with Imbibe magazine’s Negroni Week, held Monday, May 27, through Sunday, June 2, 2013, Comstock Saloon and participating bars will donate $1.00 of every Negroni sold to the Oklahoma chapter of the American Red Cross. Current participating bars include:
A16 Rockridge, Absinthe Brasserie, Acme Bar (Berkeley), Alchemist, The Alembic, A.Q., Bar Agricole, Beretta, Blackbird, Bourbon & Branch, Churchill, Elixir, Local Edition, Lolinda, Mission Bowling Club, Momo’s, Prizefighter, Rickhouse, Rock Bar, Romolo, Rye, Tradition, and Trick Dog.

In addition, “Negroni Happy Hours” will be hosted around town where 100% of Negroni sales will be donated on the following nights:

Monday, May 27 – Comstock Saloon from 5:00-9:00pm

Tuesday, May 28 – Alchemist from 5:00-7:00pm

Wednesday, May 29 – Rye from 5:00-7:00pm

Friday, May 31 – Trick Dog from 5:00-7:00pm

Saturday, June 1 – Romolo & A16 Rockridge from 5:00-7:00pm

Then on Sunday, June 2, from 5:00-9:00pm, Local Edition is partnering with the Northern California Chapter of the USBG to host a  Negroni party where guests will be able to sip on some unique variations of Negroni and jive out to the tunes of DJ Blaze Orange.
$25 donation at the door gets your first drink. All proceeds from the party will be donated.
