Genji Sushi hosts Sushi 101 for kids at Whole Foods Market

Genji Sushi, authentic, sustainable and high-quality sushi and Japanese cuisine, is joining Whole Foods Market cross country and to celebrate, Genji is hosting a series of Sushi 101 courses for kids. On Saturday, April 28th, from 12pm – 2pm, Genji Sushi will teach its first class at the Redondo Beach Whole Foods Market speaking to the honored tradition of sushi, its history, its place in Japanese cuisine, while teaching a variety of rolls, ingredients and techniques. 2nd annual Taste of the Eastside

Join the Taste of the Eastside on Sunday, May 6th from 12PM – 5PM returning to Los Feliz for a 2nd year to honor the diverse culinary scene of eastside neighborhoods Silver Lake, Echo Park, Atwater, Los Feliz, Eagle Rock, and Highland Park. The festival features a variety of activities such asfood tastings, VIP cooking and cocktail demonstrations, a wine and beer garden, and entertainment courtesy of DJ Garth Trinidad. Wild Alaskan Fish Fair at Chaya Brasserie Beverly Hills

Join Chaya Brasserie in Beverly Hills and Executive Chef Shigefumi Tachibe for dinner Monday, April 16 – April 30, 2012 for the “Wild Alaskan Fish Fair.” For a limited time only, guest can experience Alaska’s best showcase through Chef Tachibe’s Euro-Asian fare.
