Kitchen 24 West Hollywood officially opens, Season 52 to open in Century City and Santa Monica

Kitchen 24 in West Hollywood recently completed construction and is announcing its official opening. Designed by Spacecraft Group, the restaurant includes an outdoor patio where diners can order breakfast, burgers, and even cupcakes, 24-hours a day. The second location of Kitchen 24 is double in size and serves 37 beers as well as a variety of cocktails. This 50’s style diner features – Flatware pendant lights, a coffee room, mini graphic decals of beer mugs, silverware, and slices of cake displayed in the windows. Seasons 52 will be opening two new locations this fall, in Century City and Santa Monica, to accompany the current Southern California location in Costa Mesa. The Palisades Promenade in downtown Santa Monica and the Westfield Century City Mall in West Los Angeles will be home to the new locations. The menu, which changes seasonally, offers items such as Steak and Cremini Mushroom Flatbread, Cedar Plank Salmon, Caramelized Sea Scallops and Maui Tuna Crunch Salad. Seasons 52 also offers a selection of over 52 wines by the glass. Both new locations will feature a piano bar with live music nightly, private dining rooms, and a chef’s table. Slater’s 50/50 and O’Brien’s Pub to serve Pliny the Younger in March

Still unable to get a taste of Russian River Brewing Co.‘s specialty brew, Pliny the Younger? Besides being one of the beers being poured this Sunday at ColLAboration WinterFest in downtown L.A., you’ll be able to find it at two other Southern California bar/restaurants, just further south of Los Angeles.

On Wednesday, March 7, O’Brien’s Pub in Kearny Mesa, San Diego will serve up Younger from 4 PM – 8 PM. Guests must sign up in person at the pub to reserve a glass, when you do you’ll be guaranteed a glass of the Younger (150 glasses). Each glass is $10 and owner Tom Nickel is donating every dime to San Diego Humane Society, California Wolf Center, Second Chance and Villa Lobos Pit Bull Rescue. 4646 Convoy St., San Diego, CA 92111.

Flavor! Napa Valley returns for a second year

November 14 – 18 will be the second annual Flavor! Napa Valley, hosted by the Silverado Resort and Spa. Foodies and wine enthusiasts will have the opportunity to enjoy a showcase of what Napa Valley has to offer featuring two full days of hands-on experiences hosted by the local vineyards, wineries, restaurants, farms and more. Additionally, this event raises scholarship monies for students at The Culinary Institutes of America at Greystone, donating $60,000 last year.

Eat and drink at Laguna Beach Uncorked! An International Wine & Food Fest


Uncorked! An International Wine & Food Fest is heading to the Festival of Arts grounds in Laguna Beach on March 10, from 1 – 4 PM. This event, part of the four-day Laguna Beach a la Carte – A Food & Wine Experience, will allow attendees to taste samples from 25 international wineries and 24 local restaurants.
