The Tripel introduces new brunch menu, hearty new menu items at Cecconi’s West Hollywood

Starting January 14th, The Tripel in Playa del Rey will be offering brunch on the weekends from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM. As we venture further into a southern California winter, Chef Andrea Cavaliere of Cecconi’s West Hollywood added hearty new menu items to it North Italian menu. AKA Bistro to host cooking demo, wine tasting and wine dinner

January 21 from 3 PM – 5 PM in Pasadena

Two Pasadena chefs are teaming up to host “Sustainable Table Interactive Demo and Wine Tasting” at a|k|a Bistro in Pasadena on January 21 from 3 PM – 5 PM. Chef James Lambrinos of a|k|a Bistro will team up with Bistro 45′s Chef Steven Lona and Melissa’s World Variety Produce to show off their culinary skills, along with Santa Barbara wineries Refugio Ranch, Martian Ranch, Costa de Oro and Sanguis.

Chef Steven will demo roasted Brussels sprouts with duck confit, preserved kumquats and sunchoke chips, a salad of organic fennel and potatoes served with a brown butter anisette aioli, and fricasse of white asparagus and arugula served with spicy grapefruit vin and Shishito peppers. Chef James Lambrinos will concoct roasted butternut squash soup with mint yogurt, kabocha squash risotto with a cinnamon spiced crème, grilled purple and white asparagus with truffle vin, grilled fennel with charred tomato vin, and grilled Brussels sprouts with chipotle vin. The cooking demo and wine tasting are $18 per person.

If you can’t get enough of the cooking demo, a five-course “Sustainable Table Wine Dinner” will follow at 5:30 PM for $65 per person. Gordon Ramsay set to open first restaurant in Vegas

At the Paris Hotel and Casino

Hitting the Las Vegas strip in the spring of 2012, will be TV personality and Michelin Star Chef Gordon Ramsay with Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris Hotel and Casino. Replacing Les Artistes Steakhouse, Gordon Ramsay’s contemporary steakhouse will seat up to 274 guests and include a large bar, chef’s table, and a private dining room.

Shifting the casino guests’ Parisian experience to the city of London, Gordan Ramsay Steak concept and design will reflect Chef Ramsay’s heritage. The restaurant will also offer guests a look at a specially created beef aging program created by Chef Ramsay in addition to traditional steakhouse cuisine, prime cuts of beef, and Ramsay’s signature dishes.
