It’s the most wonderful time of the year! There’s much mistltoeing and hearts glowing, and of course, kids jingle belling and everyone telling you “be of good cheer.” But more than that, it’s time for holiday beers! In an effort to make sure you have as few sober moments with your family and friends, I figured it would be swell of me to review a holiday beer. What makes a holiday beer? One bottle of LOUIS XIII Le Jeroboam No 13 to be made available in the U.S.

One of the 100 handmade, “largest of its kind crystal decanter,” bottles of LOUIS XIII Le Jeroboam Cognac will be made available to the U.S. The 3-liter bottle is said to have more than 200 aromas and is made of 1,200 eaux-de-vie aged up to 100 years. Bottle number 13 is currently up for auction at charitybuzz.com with proceeds benefiting The Ruby Peck Foundation for Children‘s Education. The current bid is $16,000, auction ends December 19 at 12 PM PST.
