If stretching is warming up to exercising, then eating turkey before the holidays is warming up for Thanksgiving. Chef Wesley Lieberher over at Beer Belly, in L.A.’s Koreatown has prepared a Thanksgiving-themed menu along with (salted) Carmela Ice Cream’s Pumpkin Spice to top you off. The menu will run until November 23.
Also, Jimmy and Yume Han over at team Beer Belly are helping the LA Food Bank. Boxes will be setup to take food donations with a 400 pound goal. Read More

Stan, CEO of Taste Terminal, pin up boy, and the guy who will someday sign my checks joined me in Denver for the Great American Beer Festival. Or, I joined him … not sure which. All I know is we stayed in a crappy hotel and spent more hours together in 5 days than my family and I have logged in, well … ever. Our first night took us to Falling Rock, for they had a pumpkin beer night featuring Elysian Brewing Company. Ladyface Alehouse & Brasserie sits at the bottom of the Ladyface Mountain in Agoura Hills, CA about 35 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles. Co-owner Cyrena Nouzille and brewmaster Dave Griffiths have been producing beers at this location since November of 2009.
Besides the Agoura Hills restaurant, craft beer lovers can try their brews at Southern California bars like Library Alehouse in Santa Monica, Tony’s Darts Away in Burbank and Far Bar in Little Tokyo to name a few.
