With already 300,000 nights booked, the Omni Dallas Hotel in Dallas, TX is already living up to it’s intent. Connected to the Dallas Convention Center, Omni’s focus is on hosting convention and business function attendees. But they are also appealing to localers with a Definitely Dallas package for $111 a night to commemorate their opening, Bob’s Steak & Chop House, a sports bar, various shops, and more.
Southwest Airlines and subsidiary AirTran Airways released their summer flight schedule, now available for booking. Southwest adds new Houston nonstop routes. AirTran adds nonstop service between Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood and San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Denver. Besides the new local routes, AirTran is adding nonstop routes from San Antonio to Cancun and Mexico City beginning May 2012, and Orange County, Calif. to Cabo San Lucas and Mexico City beginning June 2012. Grimaldi's is planning ten additional locations across the U.S. for 2012
Last week, Scottsdale-based Grimaldi’s Pizzeria opened its newest location at the Fashion Show Mall on the Las Vegas Strip. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner from 11 AM – 9 PM.
